COVID-19 VACCINE ACCESS
COVID-19 vaccines are now available to Illinois residents in select eligibility groups. Find more details on the current group and to get notifications on vaccine eligibility, visit the vaccine information pages for the State of Illinois, Cook County and the City of Chicago.
All vaccinations are by appointment only. Appointments are released when a cancellation happens, so check back throughout the day. If you can travel, you may have luck at locations further away that fill less quickly, such as Tinley Park.
Appointments are available at the following locations. Individuals 65 and over should check with their primary care provider to see if they are providing vaccinations directly or can assist in getting appointments through their hospital affiliates.

City of Chicago Rental Assistance Program
The Rental Assistance Program (RAP) provides funding to Chicagoans who are at risk of becoming homeless. RAP helps Chicagoans who have housing right now, but who may become homeless soon because they lost income or had another eligible emergency which prevents them from paying rent. Chicago Restaurant Workers Relief Fund
The Chicago Restaurant Worker Relief Fund was created to help Chicago restaurant, bar and coffee shop workers who are experiencing hardship from the COVID-19 crisis. This fund will provide emergency relief grants based on need to these workers who have lost wages or employment due to the shutdown for the pandemic. Get more information and apply here.

COVID Testing: Swedish Hospital
Swedish Hospital has expanded COVID-19 testing for patients who meet the CDC and IDPH criteria. Testing at Swedish Hospital will come at no cost to patients. To determine if you need a COVID-19 test, call Swedish Hospital’s free COVID-19 Help Line at 773-907-7700 or begin screening online. Your results will be evaluated by a Swedish Hospital clinical expert, who may recommend testing in our convenient drive-through tent. APPOINTMENTS ARE REQUIRED FOR TESTING. Are you past-due on your electric bill and have a financial hardship due to job loss, illness, military deployment, disability, or as a senior citizen? If so, you may be eligible for assistance through ComEd's Residential Special Hardship program. Income-eligible, residential customers can apply once every two years for grants of up to $500* based on need and availability of program funds.
